Sea Splash Destin Crystal Beach - Kokomo Cove - 5 Bedrooms, 5 1/2 Baths

The location of this property was convenient. The flooring in the kitchen and in parts of the dining room/living room area are warped and unsafe. My family kept tripping over it due to it being so raised in spots (especially the kitchen). Dishwasher was broke when we got there. Various toilet paper holders weren’t attached when we got there. Instructions on locking the front door weren’t clear-we were late to reservations due to trying to contact the owners the first night so we could make sure the doors were locked. I had to buy new sheets for one bedroom due to sheets being stained and dirty. I had a feather in one of my “clean” towels while the rest of the towels appeared dirty. We had to rewash everything before we could use it. None of the TVs worked except for the living room TV- this was not disclosed prior. When we arrived the house didn’t seem to have working air condition. The temp was high 70s in the room while it was set to 70- it eventually came down to 70, but was extremely uncomfortable the first day we were there and that night. When we contacted the owners to inform them, we were told to “give it more time”. Additonal fans had to be bought as we had a baby & grandparents there with us. Far too hot for them. This listing does some with kitchen appliances and utensils. The pool is nice and has plenty of seating outside around it. There was also floats, a wagon, and other available items to use for outside if needed.

Very spacious for our entire family to stay. Everything was mostly clean when we checked in. Pool was perfect size to enjoy after a day at the beach. Ideal walking distance to beach. Short drives to all local restaurants.

Great property, close to beach.

We enjoyed our week-long stay! It was the perfect house for our family of 11. We especially loved having our own private pool in the backyard, and the short walk to the beach was an added bonus. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and had plenty of space for everyone. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, we had a great trip.. the property seemed clean when we first arrived, but we found dirty blankets in the closet, red hand prints around the windows and the pool had algae in it when we arrived. One chair in the living room was broken, and the volume on the TV downstairs didn’t work. The home is super close to the beach, so that was nice. Overall, a good beach house, it just needed to be cleaned/updated a little more.
